Our Mission |
|

Our mission is to provide and promote knowledge and awareness of resources,
programs, therapies, and community-based events for families and caregivers with
Special Needs Children. Raising a child with Special Needs requires a lot of time and energy.
Some of this time and energy is spent researching information on your child's
condition and figuring things out on your own. The
Special Needs
Network would like to help reduce your time
searching for information and more time with your child, family, and for
yourself.
Our goal at the Special
Needs Network is to network with
ALL types of families with Special Needs Children. From Autism to
Cerebral Palsy. From the Hearing Impaired to Learning Disabled. We
are here to help everyone network together.
We all have knowledge and resources about our child that we can share with
others.

August and September are the months when we start
preparing for going back to school, for most children this can be exciting
but can be quite hectic and nerve racking for the average parent; but more
so for the parents of children with special needs. These parents have far
more work to do preparing their children for school and have fewer resources
to work with; and at times just do not know where to turn for help and
