As a child of the 70's and 80's growing up with a disability I am glad to see that there are so many more resources for parents today. My parents didn't have a whole lot people to question about what was happening to me. And sometimes when they did ask, the experts didn't have the answers. I want to thank you Laura, for all the parents with special needs that are going to benefit from your efforts.

Has anyone used the Theratog suits? What is your experience? Did they help? Where the worth the money? We are trying to decide if we should try them. Thanks!

I would like to invite anyone who is interested to check out this great site and I am sure it helps lots of Moms out there.

I have a nephew that is in the beginning stages of being tested for Autism. That is what they believe it is. My sister and her family are moving and finding Ethan to be very irritated and "freaking" out, not sleeping because he isn't in a familiar environment. Has anyone else dealt with this with an autistic child? How did you help them deal with a major move? My sister isn't sure what to do. Thanks!!

My son has been having a type of therapy that is not very common or at least not talked about a lot. "Cranio Sacral Therapy" have you heard of it?
We are very happy with the progress we have seen since he has been having this done. I have since started taking some interest in this type of therapy and have been amazed at all the benefits it can have. I am now reading a book called "Cranio Sacral Therapy Somato Emotional Release" it is written by Dr. John Upledger. He is the Dr that discovered and created an entirely new therapy that has and does help people. This therapy can help all sorts of people dealing with things ranging from Cerebral Palsy, Downs Syndrome, Autism, Seizers, Hyperactive children, Learning Disabilities, Colic, Chronic pain, Depression, Headaches...the list goes on and on. Check out the website or the book if your interested and if you have any questions let me know.
